Candidate for Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology
September 2009 to June 2010, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON

This program is designed to be the "MBA for entrepreneurs." With courses in finance, accounting, strategy, marketing, sales, and innovation management, students are equipped with the tools to be the next leaders in technology business. Throughout the year I worked on a real-life start-up project that sought to commercialize the joint venture between a waste to clean energy company, and a company specializing in methanol production. With five other students, we were the strategic advisers known as ReThink Energy.

Choosing a major in speech communication, minor in history, and a specialization in human resources, my Arts & Business degree provided me with a firm foundation in humanities and social sciences in addition to a core set of business courses.
